Pilea Peperomioides // Chinese Money Plant 

The classic Chinese money plant is great as a gift to one of your wonderful friends. It is thought to offer wealth to the owner that cares for it and I’m all for believing these wonderful tales.

The saucer-like leaves and the small sprays of white/cream flowers are a joy to watch grow.

Harriet's Tip: Did you know they flower and disperse their pollen by releasing it in a puff motion in to the atmosphere. They need warmth to encourage flowering.
